Digital embodiments

Digital embodiments is an on-going research project that speculates designs of physical and virtual manifestations of the invisible lives created through biological or network impulses. It displays sample species of non-organic life evolving symbiotically with their biotic counterpart.

This installation also investigates the notion of the eye of the machine. Unlike humans’, these are not bound to one single physical place, and they are capable of capturing distinct sets of data.

Data tags
Crystallisations of virtual cloud fragments from flows of data that surrounds us or virtual life forms, data tags are a physical manifesto of certain stages of evolution of the digital embodiments. They are engaging the question of access to information and communication between real and virtual entities.
